Riverbend Downtown is the part of town you can cover on foot. You will find small shops, places to eat and a short walk to the water. Homes here are often smaller, and many are townhomes or condos.
Yards are small, and there is more to do close to the front door. It can also be louder in the evenings and on event days, so it pays to visit more than once.
When you tour, ask about parking, noise and any association fees. If the home is a condo, ask what the dues cover and how the building handles repairs. Look at how the area sits relative to the river and ask about flood insurance.
